Can I join if I live outside the UK?Overseas members need to live in either the EU or any of the countries where the Marrakesh Treaty has come into force. If you live in the EU Anyone with a visual impairment, dyslexia or another disability can join and borrow our audiobooks via streaming and download only. If you live outside the EU (where the Marrakesh Treaty has been ratified) Anyone living in a country that has ratified the Marrakesh Treaty who has a visual impairment, dyslexia or another disability can borrow audiobooks via streaming and download only.

Do you provide audiobooks for younger readers?Yes! We support children from as young as 4-years-old with a range of audiobooks. If you have a child with dyslexia or any other disability that impacts reading*, they are all eligible to join Calibre Audio for free access to our audiobooks. We also have many school set texts in our collection, students can listen and read along, so they can keep up with their peers and not fall behind in the classroom.

Who can join Calibre Audio?Calibre Audio is free to join for anyone who has a print disability. A print disability is a difficulty or inability to read printed material where someone is unable to see, read, manipulate or comprehend the text. This can include: A learning disability, such as dyslexia; A brain injury or cognitive impairment such as head trauma or stroke; A visual impairment or blindness; A physical dexterity problem such as multiple sclerosis (MS), Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Parkinson's disease, arthritis, paralysis or terminal illness.
